37 weeks

Went to the weekly Dr. appt today.  Cervix is closed for business :(  Boo.  Another uneventful week ahead.  I have been enjoying the daily swims at the pool.  Nothing like being weightless when you have a bowling ball in your belly.   I'm feeling more and more disabled, but at the same time get 30 minute spurts of high-energy where I run around organizing everything in sight and then collapse in our one air-conditioned room.  THANK GOODNESS for A/C.  Hopefully I'll have more exciting news in the next post.

To the big day. August 27th is slowly approaching and  I am feeling the third trimester swelling and pelvic pressure.  Yowzas!  I am ready to meet this baby.

Today at Cola's Surf Camp!

I have been CRAVING watermelon lately.  I buy one about twice a week and eat the entire thing myself.  Well Dave helps.  A little. Just thinking about it as I write this is making me crave a slice.  It has to be COLD though.  MMMMmmmm!

Happy 4th of July!

Started the morning off with a red-white-and-blue-pancake-breakfast-patriotic-sing-a-long.  Headed down to the beach and marinated in the sun for a few hours.  Took a nap.  And finished the day with a BBQ with the missionaries at J/J's.  I made an American Flag cake as well.   Then we watched the fireworks show at the harbor.  I love this holiday!

Every day I am grateful to be one day closer to P-day.  

[P stands for Phoebe, not Pay although I do enjoy those too.]

Times I use the bathroom when I should be sleeping: 4-6

BH contractions I have in a day: 4-6

Hours I work in a week: 32

Times Dave says "Hey Little Baby" in a high-pitched voice while patting my belly: 5-7

Hours I spend dreading organizing P's room: 24

I can't wait for the little tigre to get here!

Dave sure does know how to treat his preggie wife!  He did a great job, for a caucasian man.

Happy Birthday Davey!

It was Dave's birthday yesterday and he turned the big 3-2! We had a pre-bday party at Jim and Jaycie's and then a bday party at the Speed household.  Dave asked for tap shoes this year and did a little jig with his new baritone ukulele.
