hey! so im kind of a bad mom -- i got sick of squeezing him into the infant carrier and making him so upset by facing him to the backseat. the car seats say at least 22 lbs AND 1 year old, but i asked my mom and she said she just put us in whenever we seemed big enough. and boy was danny big enough! he is SO much happier in the forward-facer. i am a believer, and i know many other moms with kids his age who have made the switch as well.
