While having my head blown off in a gang related accident wouldn't exactly conjure up the fondest of memories, we decided to stick to the more civilized parts. Namely, the LA temple,
A new skate park at venice,
no not just new, THE MOST INCREDIBLY AWESOMEST ONE IN THE UNIVERSE! (really it was. I have never had so much fun skating)The Getty Villa (the nugget was too tall for covered parking so they made us park with the big boys.)

Random fact, but our lovely church backs up to the Getty if you want to get free parking. And of course, stayed at our most favorite hotel, The Ritz-Carlton. Oh you know, they just happened to have this lovely chocolate-covered strawberry spread waiting for us. . .and that sunrise from our balcony? Magnifique!
Ahh yes. Thank heavens for my beloved discount. I'll be teaching yoga in my 90's to keep this added bonus. Of course we had our low points. The crappy surf session at Malibu. (Why can't we just get along in the water?? Oh yea, he gets all the waves while I do donuts). And we missed the cut off for the McDonald's hotcakes breakfast by 5 minutes! Just so you know they stop serving breakfast at 10:30 NOT 11. Ouch. He knows not to make that mistake again. But definitely made it up with this delicious oreo shake.
If you haven't guessed already, my love language is tasty food. Some skating footage of the Mr. and Mrs.
We couldn't wait to get home to this little metal head.
